This project envisioned a design framework for play in the public realm through 800 acres of waterfront in downtown Toronto. It began with a day-long collaborative creative workshop between Sidewalk Labs and our team of expert play designers and researchers.

The final Play Report provided a summary of the workshop proceedings, play spatial typologies, design recommendations, and play governance to explore new thinking regarding operations, maintenance, and management for the future of play in smart cities.
